The Two Escobars (Jeff and Michael Zimbalist, 2010)

Pablo and Andres Escobar

An excellent documentary.

With the World Cup currently taking center stage across the globe, I don't think there's a better time to watch this film directed by the Zimbalist brothers.

If you've read Mark Bowden's Killing Pablo, some of the stories will be familiar to you, but what they mostly focus on is the the drug trade's role in the development of the national football team, and the effect of the game on the people of Columbia.

Columbia's run to the 1994 World Cup is highlighted and provides for some of the most thrilling moments in the film. Of course the tragic ending for both Escobar's has been well documented, so be prepared for the tear jerker ending (for Andres, not necessarily Pablo).

If your torrent game is on point, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it.

My torrent game is weak (I don't use 'em) but I've been tryna find a download link/or streamable version to this for a week or so.

It looks fantastic.

The file I have is about 4gb, so i'm a bit limited in what I can do with it.

If there's a screening in your town or you can get your hands on a copy, it's definitely worth watching.
